Today was my last day as a freshman at Ole Miss. The school year is officially over. I must say that it seems like yesterday we were moving into the dorms and completely overwhelmed. This has been such an eventful year and God has shown me so much!
This year I've learned to really appreciate my family. Being away allowed me to see things in a new light! It's not as if I didn't like my family before, don't get me wrong I always have loved them! But now I cannot think of anyone else I'd rather spend my time with before them! It's such a joy to come home to a Dad that is constantly cracking jokes, a Mom that is so much fun, a Sister I can be goofy with, a Brother I can pick on and two adorable dogs to love on.

This year I have grown to absolutely love RUF this year. I love the people. I love the music. I love the fellowship. I love Les' sermons. I love Freshman Bible Study. I love e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g about it! haha! God used RUF as a way for me to grow. I learned so much about the gospel through God using Les. I'm so blessed for the people I've gotten to know through RUF and all the growing I've experienced as a result. I look forward to two more years of it!

This year I have met SO many people. I've become friends with a lot of great people that I cannot wait to continue getting to know each and every single person! A lot of these people are DGs with me, along with some that are not. It's been so much fun getting to know such a variety of people! I loved all the girls on my floor- Martin 7 and will greatly miss living with them next year! Especially my wonderful roommate, Bailey Poole. Delta Gamma has been exactly what I've expected it to be. I'm thankful for such a diverse group of girls to call my sisters. I know it sounds so corny, but it is so true!

My wonderful Roommate...
This year I've been able to keep in touch with some of the best friends I had to separate from whenever I left for college. My absolute best friend, Hannah, went to State and I went to Ole Miss. Although we have always had such a great friendship, it still was a worry that we would slowly drift apart. But we didn't let that happen! Even at times whenever we hadn't seen each other in months, it's like we never even left each other! Hannah is such a wonderful best friend and such a great influence in my life. Yes, we will be BFFLs! (best friends for life.) I have no doubt! She's not the only one from high school I've stayed super close to either! I'm so glad that through a year of many changes some of my friendships from high school that I held dear have remained just as strong and important.
BFFL Hannah ;)
Love my LL so much <3 We understand each other. Not many other people have this talent haha.
Joseph Currier... We've basically been best friends since he shoved me down on the play ground in 5th grade. I'm so thankful to have a best friend like him.
My World :) I cannot wait for this girl to be in Oxford
My fellow Presbo buddy! I cannot wait for him to get to Oxford either! These seniors need to hurry.
Best friend BeeJay
This year has been such an experience. It's been hard. It's been challenging and a lot of lessons were learned. It's been one huge adjustment. It's been eye opening. But it's also been an absolute blast. It's been a year of spiritual growth and excitement. God has proved himself over and over again to be faithful. I cannot wait to see what this summer has in store.
I'll see you in the fall, Oxford. Take Care.
Until Next Time, Mary Claire
