The Match

I decided I would tell y'all about a competition I'm in right now. RUF puts on a game called "The Match" This is where 32 freshman girls and 32 freshman guys all sign up to play. The Match has separate rounds where in each round you are paired up with someone of the opposite sex and you play against another couple that has been paired. If your pair wins, you and your partner advance to the next round. Before each new round, you are paired with someone different and compete using a different game! The first round everyone played Corn hole toss, which is where you throw a bean bag about 20 ft and try to make it in the hole on the board. The first to get 21 points was won. Samuel and I won so we both advanced to the next round!

We barely won, it was 22-21!

Round 2 I was paired with a guy named Will and we played a card game. The name of it was Cash, which I had never heard of it being called that. Basically you and your partner had to decide on a secret "signal" to use whenever one of y'all got all four of the same card. The goal was for your partner to see your signal before the other team noticed and call you out on it. You also are trying to keep an eye out for their signal and catch them before they call "Cash." We played best out of 5 games and won!

This game was a lot of fun!

I'm actually play Round 3 today with Waters as my partner! The game is disc golf. I have played this before, but I wasn't very good and it's been a couple years since I have! Hopefully we'll do a good job and advance. If not, it's been a lot of fun to play!
