Thursday afternoon I hopped in the car after class with my good friend Briana and we headed to Starkville for Phi Delt Semi-Formal! We started the night with dinner at Old Venice with 12 other couples and it was so yummy! The actual formal was at the State Theatre and a wonderful band played! I had such a fun time with my date and it was a wonderful night! Briana and I woke up at 5 am the next morning to make it back for our 8 o'clock classes!
Saturday Morning I woke up at 6 am to head to the DG house for DERBY DAYS! Our theme this year was Sigma Chi: The best Tribe... We all dressed as Indians! For those of you that don't know, Derby Days is one of the philanthropies Sigma Chi puts on. It's a week long event where the sororities compete against each other. Some of the events are a Blood Drive, Money Drop, Search for the Derby, Games, and a Dance competition. Although we had to put a lot of time and energy into practice this week, it was well worth it come Saturday whenever we found out we WON! Three years in a row! I'm thankful to be apart of Delta Gamma. I've become such good friends with some wonderful girls.

| Best Roommate ever... Only five more weeks together :( |
Around 6 Saturday night me and two of my friends, Caroline and Chase got in the car and headed to Starkville for Super Bulldog Weekend! I went to the Phi Delt house that night to see Gorilla Zoe. It was absolutely PACKED! I had such a fun night and got to see so many people I hadn't in a long time!

I had one of the best weekends so far this year! It was so much fun winning derby days and visiting all my dear friends in Starkville. I'm so thankful for each and every one of my friends God has blessed me with! My freshman year of college will be over in a short five weeks. I don't know where the year has gone? It seems like yesterday I was moving in! This year has been such a fun experience and I've learned so much. God has worked in my life in so many ways and I'm so thankful. Even though I'm sad it's coming to an end, I absolutely cannot wait for CAMP! I'm working at Twin Lakes this summer as a counselor and cannot wait to see what God has in store for the summer. I cannot wait to minister to children all summer long and fellowship with the rest of the staff... HOW EXCITING!
For Now,
Mary Claire
